1993 240sx coupe. The only mod to the fronts are adjustable TEIN tension rods, a tanabe sway bar, and a Greddy Strut bar. (Bought the car like this)

The problem: I installed a set of coilovers on the car. I set both front coilovers to the same position and installed them. When I lowered the car, the driver side was 1 inch lower than the passenger side. WTF???? I pulled the wheels and measured the coils again and they were definitely set to the same height. What would cause this?

The rears seem fine.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Drive with them on for a few hundred miles and let them settle in. If problem persists, triple check your install and make sure you didn't install anything backwards or in the wrong direction.

Thanks for the input. I haven't had a chance yet to try what you suggested, but after inspecting the car a bit closer, I think one fender is just messed up. It's not real obvious, but you can tell if you look closely. Didn't really notice it with the car on stock suspension, but with e coils the difference is much more noticeable.

Thanks again.
