Does any here know the dimensions of undersized pulleys? How do they affect the performance of the engine?Could there possibly be an oversize/undersize combination that increases performance to it's best abilities? What would be your ideal pulley set-up?Thanx

Sorry, no experience with them...I've stayed away because I'm afraid to use them before I get my crank balanced. Too much talk about it affecting the balance of the crank. Don't know if there's any truth behind it, but with a motor as rough as the KA, no need since there's not significant gains to be made.

Ideal pulley set-up would be NONE, but since that's not possible, I at least got rid of the A/C.

I been using the ASP pulley for over 3 months now and havn't had problems. But then I don't really drive my car that hard, at least not yet. :)

from who? there are many people using UD pulleys on their KAs with no problems.

the KA will rev smoother and faster, and it does free up some power.

I have heard too many people talk about it affecting the balance in theory....no actual testimonials from KA owners...sorry...should have clarified that.

Yes, it does free up some power, just wanted to make sure I got some more opinions from people who had actually used it for some time before I put them on.

I was wondering if there was much difference between the asp crank pulley and the U/R pulley as far as h/p? also i have heard different things about the installation. how difficult is the installation. i have a 96 240sx.

no, i've been lazy and busy at the same time.

but here's some FYI...

for those of you hardcore fanatics who don't have power steering or a/c on your SOHC, you can remove the harmonic dampner from you oem crankshaft pulley assembly. the dampner itself makes up more than half the weight of the of the assembly.

once i get the figures, i'll compare the weights of the aftermarket stuff to the lightened oem pulley.
