Hello everyone I'm in the process of putting on an AMS underdrive pully on my 1990 300zx na and was wondering when putting it on could I use a rubber hammer to pound it on? or do I just put the bolt in and tighten it down? Help never done this before and want to do it right and not f??ck something up.

Since the aluminum is very fragile you do not want to force or hit it. best bet is to get a fine emery cloth and clean the mounting surface of the crank then use a lubricant to fit it on, you can use the bolt to force it down but only the last small part of the way. I have damaged these pulleys before by forcing it on and off so you have to be careful, if in doubt back off and clean it more.

No problem man, It'll make a difference although I don't know if you'll be able to feel it, also you wanna get yourself a overdrive water pump pulley because you will now be spinning the water pump slower which could lead to overheating in some conditions so to keep things even grab one of those as well.
