underdrive pully help
underdrive pully help
so why my motor is out im gona change the cam seals and front main... but i can not for the life of me ge the underdrive pulley bolt loose.. ive used penetrating spray and a air gun and it still wont budge.. any ideas ?

How strong an impact gun are you using? I can put more than 500lb/ft of torque on a breaker bar with a cheater bar. I'd try that and getting something to lock out either the cam gears or the flywheel.

i ended up using a breaker bar and my old alternator belt and wraped it around the alternator housing.. i seen it some were on this forum and it worked amazingly

usually you want to lock up your FW against the block, its safer than using belt that could slip.
