Does anyone here have any suggestions for an underdrive pulley set for a 93 Hardbody 4 cyl?

Also, Im very new to this truck and just want a bit more performance out of it without going to extremes. Heres my plan, perhaps you guys have suggestions?

Headers, 1.5 inch with 2.5 inch collector y into y
2.5 inch custom exhaust with flowmaster cat and muffler, not sure which model yet

Cold Air intake of some sort, again not sure what model but I may fab something up myself

Under drive pulleys, hopefully
Fitting an electric fan

Other than that, I'll probably just drop in some new plugs and wires and wrap the headers. Am I missing anything obvious, or is any of this pointless? I mainly just want to have a bit more torque in usable ranges and maybe lighten up the engine so it will rev quicker.

Thanks a bunch in advance, this is an awesome resource you guys have in this community.

The stock air intake is a cold air intake, at least from behind the fender. If you got a black truck parked in the sun I guess it might not be so cold anymore lol. I haven'e heard any wild power increases with any of the aftermarket CAI's.

The stock exhaust header is not bad.

I have an electric fan, it is okay, nothing too dramatic as far as power increases go. It is quieter.

I wouldn't go any larger than 2-1/4" pipe, you'll lose too much back pressure otherwise. most HB owners install the 240sx intake and cam for faster throttle response and power.

Thanks for the input so far guys. I don't want to lose too much back pressure for sure, would rob all my torque. Does anyone make a cat-back kit for this truck if I were to leave the stock headers in place? All I can come up with is a Dynomax kit that seems a bit scarce on details. (http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/DYN17446.htm)

I'm all questions, I know. Just a little lost with how to approach this project with so little aftermarket support.

Thanks for the tip about the 240 intake and cam, will look into that.

Thats a pretty expensive exhaust system for being behind the cat. But hey if I could afford it I would probably get it.

As posted above stock gets air from near headlight, save a ton and get a washable filter for stock, CAI will not add any noticeable power increase. Not like the 4 banger needs a ton of air. I put in a spectre filter, like K&N but half the cost 25 bucks. washable and oiled just like K&N advanced auto parts can order them for you.

I disconnected the breather tube from the stock airbox and put a filter on it because the stock element was just gunked up anyway; and I figure that it is that much less air passing through the main air ducting (hence less taken away from the actual engine intake). Alot of air passes through the breather, so a free flowing element is important and probably often overlooked. The PCV valve/tubing is the other end of this system and should be functioning correctly as well.

Also, see that your ground strap is connected to the firewall and the connections are clean. I coated the strap itself with a little bit of grease as it is a small, exposed, braided cable and it could use the protection.

One thing I can say about the stock plastic ducting is that the pieces fit together sloppily, at least on my truck.

Well, after the advice from you guys and further research into the KA24, I think my plans were a bit far reaching and overzealous. I'm going to fab up a more direct intake and delete all that extra plastic tubing but leave most everything else alone.

Revised List:
Wrap Headers
Fab custom CAI
Muffler on stock exhaust
Electric Fan
Clutch

Wont do a ton for performance, but the new muffler should make it sound a bit less buzzy and the fan should quiet it down a bit. Eventually I plan on doing a 94-97 dash swap and new seats, but I'm going to let that wait till the sub box gets built.

Thanks for the input guys.
