ASP is underdriven, meaning youll need all new different sized belts. UR is lightened, but uses stock belt sizes. iirc

I have an ASP sitting in front of me and it sure does feel a lot lighter than a stock pulley.

Only 1 or 2 belts are still stock sized, same w/ ASP.

I have a UR, but that's only cuz I got one used for 100, haha.

Been working great for 1+ years. Remember to change the crank oil seal on the timing cover too!

Easiest way is to bring your stock ones in & ask for 1 size smaller & 2 sizes smaller for both pulley belts. that's what I did.

I "believe" only the alternator one different - this was how it was for ka24e... you can search on the install instructions for the UR pulley & it tells you.

Enjukuracing.com has the ASP pulley for the S13 for $119 and it says it inculdes the new belt sizes. Easy enough, right? I'll be ordering mine in a week or two, gotta make a trip home first. And, yeah, change your front crank seal at the same time, just for good insurance, and please, for the love of cheap gaskets everywhere, use a genuine Nissan crank seal (the rear main was WAAAAAY better than aftermarket).

does the asp make the same on a dyno as the ur...the ur gets about 1.5 - 2 to the wheels...what about the asp? it's a little heavier so won't it be less horsepower to the wheels? Just a thought

I have an unorthodox sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. The old is out and the unorthodox is considerably smaller and much lighter. It feels more like the W/P pulley. I'll now in a bit if it made any difference. I'm sure it will affect the idle air conditioning in my 115+ degree Phoenix summers.
