Just got done installing an underdrive pulley in my J and just wanted to tell you guys that man this thing really adds power! I was worried about it not being able to keep the minimums, but it idles just fine. it has a lot more low and mid level torque.

The install was for the most part a brease I was kinda worried though about the 27mm crankshaft bolt, but my best investment for this project was an air impact wrench ($30 from walmart). took that baby right off in one pull.

I paid like $20 for the pulley (ebay) and $30 for the belts from performance nissan. well worth it for anybody trying to add more power to this car.

Now i just gotta find somebody who does exhaust in or around san diego. any recommendations people?

Merry Xmas.

I don't think i like the idea of putting a $20 ebay pulley into my car, but it is good to know that there are some noticeable gain from do it. Got any pics and belts #. Does anyone know if othe company make one for the VG DE? I 'll probably look into that since i'll be do the timing belt very soon.

buying stuff for your car on eBay is fine, as long as they have been a member for a while with a good feedback rating.. i've gotten a lot of very good deals on there.. as to the underdrive pulley, call me crazy, but i think im getting a little better gas milage now!

anyhow, here are the belt numbers for y'all

yeah, you need a 3 claw puller. i just rented it from autozone. i tried a 2 claw 1'st and didnt work, so get a 3 claw and it'll pop right off.
