hey guys, got a couple of questions about underdrive pulleys. if you were to put one on, how much of a gain is typical? i know unorthodox racing has one for the 02-05 altima v6, do you guys think it would work on our engines? or has something changed that would prevent it? forgive me if these are silly questions, just kinda itchin for the next performance mod

Eh, they are all good an well for a few extra horses, but things arent going to work the same anymore. On a car like this that utilizes so many components off the accessory belt, you would see a degredation in electircal power, power steering, air cond temp, etc. I don't think its worth it in a comfortable car such as this. If your going to go through all the work of underdrive pulleys, your already on the way to building an enthusiast car that doesn't even use things like the A/C compressor

Honestly, it's not worth it and if so, it's better for the motor to match it with a lighter flywheel. I had the combo on my 02 SpecV and noticed the performance difference in a positive way.
