i'm new to the vert world. i've built an s14 which i sold to a kid that blew the sr within two weeks, but thats another story. i plan on putting down around 450+whp in the vert and was wondering what kind of underbracing is out there to keep the frame from any possible twisting. any info is greatly appreciated

The factory bracing that was added to the car is more than enough. just cause you have a vert dosen't mean that the car is going to bend in half. it may have no top but it is heavy for a reasson.

I have an rb25 in my vert and it takes it like a champ!

some pics of the factory bracing add to the vert...

Okay, These are what I've done so far for the bracing and I love them. It feels super solid and controlled.

Front Strut Tower BarTrunk BarRear Tie BarFront Ladder BarRear Ladder BarNagisa PlatesProgress sway barsYashio Factory Core Support*Nismo Front Power Brace*Aluminum subframe collars(You can go with full aluminum bushings)*Kazama Tension Rods

You can check out my picture thread here in vert forum to see more details. I don't like to have a roll bar on my car, so I installed them to stiffen it up. There are some more pieces to add like fender braces and floor bar, but I think I'll pass them. Also go to suspension forum and take a look around. You can find good stuff there.

rear tower bar is pointless IMO. ASC welded in a boxed brace that ties the towers together, so a tower bar back there would be redundant.

No one makes rear tower bar for a vert.

That's what I thought. Tie bar is kinda pointless too, but you can't beat $19 shipped value from eBay.
