I have changed the original plastic front skid plate in my QX4 to a tailor made steel plate, I like to know of any other recommended underbody protection for my QX4. thanks

Transfer Case Skid Plate

==============================================Transfer Case Skid PlateThe Pathfinder transfer case is shared with nearly all Nissan 4x4 trucks, including the Xterra, Frontier, and even the older Pathfinders. However, my Pathfinder did not have any kind of protection around the transfer case, a vital component of the 4WD system. I had the opportunity to acquire a skid plate for the transfer case from an Xterra owner who had an extra one. The skid plate is actually a part number specified for the older pre-96 Pathfinder, but it is still installable on the newer models. You can order one of these at NissanParts.cc for less than $15. Here's the label showing the part number: Here is the unprotected transfer case. And here is the transfer case shown with the skid plate installed. Installation of the skid plate took less than 15 minutes. With four 14mm bolts, sold separately (2 of part number 33201-33G10 and 2 of part number 08121-0201E), it was a simple matter of cleaning out the dirt-filled bolt holes in the transfer case and tightening down the bolts. It is very easy to strip either the bolts or the bolt-holes if the threads are not clean. Here are some other views of the completed installation.
