so i finally got around to looking and all i have is a black plastic cap over this cutout. pried it off and there's nothing under there. when you order the air freshener, is it only a replaceable element that goes in a holder, or do you get the whole thing? i guess, do i need to source a holder from a part-out or somewhere else? thanks. randy

You can get it from joe, only the 90-92 had them.

It's the whole thing, about the size of a butane lighter but a little shorter. Smell is subtle, barely noticeable. I wouldn't bother.

Chances are such a part (if available) has been sitting around for years and has dried up and lost its scent.

I couldn't possibly disagree more. I just replaced mine about a month ago and it did a great job of bringing back the "Q musk" as Wes calls it.

Took roughly 3.56 seconds to switch out the air freshener, and now my car smells all factory original like.

You can get it for cheap through Joe...but, the shipping is a *****. If you can, combine the order with some other items.

Yeah, DHL which Joe uses has a flat rate $5 shipping, its great for shipping a lot of stuff (VERY VERY COMPETITIVE) but when you only needone thing it kinda stinks......

Anyway, im about due for another one.. Its great, the Q45 smell is so great, if i coudl make everything smell like the Q45 smell, i would be a happy guy!!!!!!
