Remember, those are just the PCV hoses. Don't forget the fuel lines, water hoses, heater hoses, vacuum hoses and power brake hoses!

looking at that diagram is like flipping through the pages of an old diary ...

as I fondly point to different part numbers

i've replaced that, and that, and that.

Remember the night that started to leak?

How about the time that tore while I was lifting the plenum off and I had to call Joe again?

Or do you remember when I skinned my knucles trying to get the new [insert random part here] on?

ahhhhh, the memories.

Actually, if you save the picture by right clicking and then open it in your Paint program, you can easily color in the rubber hoses in a contrasting color to give a little clarity to the diagram.

Also on the Scottsdale site the bypass hose diagram is available. Im going to print them out and go out to the garage with my flashlight to see what Im in for when I tackle it.

That's a great idea...you just do a color fill on the interior blue areas? That would really be a nice diagram to have around for doing the job.

I'm trying to attach a copy of the colored illlustration from above that I did. I had to use the drawing tool in the paint program to highlight it because the "fill" tool didn't seem to recognize the origianl drawing and didnt work.

I dont know if I got all the rubber hoses highlighted. Some of them appear to be the metal tubes, which I tried not to highlight, but I could have missed some.

Anyway, just a suggestion and it takes all of about 4 minutes to do, unlike the actual job of changing the hoses. ;)

Joe can you give me a total updated member cost on changing EVERY hose on the engine including the brake hose to one way valve and the 2 fuel hoses from the engine return and to filter] [plus the ones on the engine] and the hoses to fuel evap canister............every rubber hose in the bay.....except maybe the wiper washer. Include the heater core hoses ......which are finally starting to leak on 90's..........$500?

I'm trying to come up with a total R&R price

No, $705.77 [if the calculator or the operator is right].....I guess in my mind I forgot the $200 of fuel hoses.

Hey Joe, I was wondering if you could get me the prices for the following part numbers if possible. I have a 1990 Q45 that I am replacing knock sensors on and I am going to need to buy the following parts. Thanks
