Hey, well let me first start off how this problem occurred. I drove to my friends house which has Really High Speed bumps not knowing how to drive sideways at the time scratched the bottom of my z but each time i hit the bump i felt the vibrations on my shift knob i hit it a tleast 3 times than after i left the place made a weird Clinging noise from normally my bak tired when i got it was regular but after my speed bump catastrophe i think i really f*ed it up any suggestions what could it be?

Thank you,Brian

get the car on a lift, I'm pretty sure nissan kept all the delicated placed up high enough to be out of harms wau and most likely you just rubbed the dram rails and maybe the trans crossmsmber, nothign that should cause an issue

Just wondering, what is a dram rail? and a transmission crosssmember? dont know much about cars here, but ave come VERY close to doing what the previous guy just did, and have always been concerned about scraping expensive parts under there.

Sounds like your alignment might be off.
