Under-dash light concern

Hello, I'm not sure if US Versas have this light under the dash (shown in the pic) but I would like to know if someone knows how to change it to LED. The thing is that this light is very well positioned and would be very useful, I don't even think it would be necessary to add footwell lighting if I can upgrade this light.

At night it glows light orange, and unfortunately is not that useful right now... I think the plastic covering it might be holding the light... Help?

I do not see a light there at all...I'm looking in the circle.. am I just retarded?

Also what's up with the ignition..? Is it a button cause thats what I want.

My bad, I just took better pics. I think this is one of those Tiida-only features.

btw... it's the regular key ignition, the flash made it look different.

You could try getting a butter knife or flathead screw driver and a soft cloth and try to pull it out. Just make sure to put the cloth over the utensil so it doesn't scratch anything.

Please refer to the stereo install guide to see how this part of the dash comes apart. You may have better luck getting to it from above.
