Under dash "clunking"

It's definitely not a rattle, but when driving over various bumps it's like a loose box bobbling around. Definitely on the drivers side. I've tried to feel around but nothing seemed loose.

Anybody know what is up there that would clunk?

heh.. ive been looking for it for years. still cant find it. happens when you close the door and the window is down.. hear it very clear. if anyone knows wtf it is please tell me so i can live in peace

Same problem here, seems to happen when I shut the doors, a clunking sound from under the dash. I thought it might be something in the air conditioning/heating system. I forgot the name of the part, but it might be the assembly that controls where the air goes to the vents. If I remember right there is a flap in there that might bounce around. Correct me if I am wrong. I hope someone can fix this and share it with the rest of us.
