Huge. Keep looking. Unless you are getting it for $0 or less, and can do the work yourself, don't bother it isn't worth your time. A car that is rusted that badly has probably been neglected in many other ways also. In my opinion, it is easier to start off with a car that has a beautiful frame and a screwed up motor. Then again, I am incapable of doing body work myself.

Replacing the frame rails itself isnt a HUGE issue itself if you have a plasma cutter and know how to weld.... But you gotta think if your frame rails are rusted out, your undercarriage is probably rusted out too. I mean it can be done, but your putting tons and tons of work(or money..) into a car thats not worth over 1-2 grand to begin with.

There are alot of 240's out there, you shouldnt buy one thats rusted out. Those typically end up in the junkyards, or being some poor guys headache. Id stay away from that car myself.

Good idea. Pay a bit more money to start off with something better.
