i have the tanabe sustec underbrace on my 240sx hatch.

its a great improvement. you cant really feel the difference when your just driving but when you turn you will be able to feel it.

its a cheap upgrade

Does the nismo one seem a little better supported? It seemed to me like it did but how much does it cost?

Ive been toying with the idea of welding a bar across mine... since that's pretty much all that nismo did.. (plus they painted it)

I would most definetely go with especially if you are planning on doing some drifting, it is always good to stiffin up the frame when you can. It doesn't really matter what your using your car for drift, drag, or autocross, getting that frame stiffer will help with all three.
