Oem silver. they are legit. Got an uncut president key from them and they are trying to locate More. Nissan stopped making them last year so they say

Yes they are OEM with the INFINITI logo.

If anybody would like an "already cut" key 24k gold plated, just let me know.. I got one of my keys back from plating the other day.. I can post a picture of it..

Like BCCT, not making anything off the transaction. I like to keep some work going with the plater to stay on the customer list for when I need something done.

I can check into the cost if anybody is interested. As always, if the plater works on it according to his job schedule the price is significantly lower.

Dont have a closeup but heres a pic of my pres key, along with a clock, pw folding/heated mirrors and switch ive yet to wire up. And no the mirror doesn't make me look fat, I am fat...

No it does not. Just the "PRESIDENT" in silverish lettering. VERY cheaply made, feels very light

I really want a president clock.. Outside of something newer for a stereo than the bose, I think thats the only mod I want to do to the interior of the Q..

Sorry to inform you all but the response for my bulk purchase of G50 keys has come in...

Nissan say they only have 1 key left, once that's gone they will have to produce more. The problem is they will only produce more when a minimum amount of orders are reached for production. They will not tell us how many that minimum number is, or how many orders they already have, so they have said that the key will become "unavailable until an indefinite time in the future". If a part is on the unavailable list for longer than 6 months or so they make it no longer available.

On the other hand silver president keys are still available at 29,000 yen which is about 400$ US

The Gold keys (1990-1991?), Valet and wallet keys are no longer available! Sad day in the Q forum. I suppose Nissan doesn't think making keys for us ten people that own these cars is worth it.

That's right, Nissan told us the key was available. However (and this has happened a few times in the last week with different orders) they have come back later and changed the part's status to unavailable. They offer no explanation and we are left to explain it to the customer with the information we have.

Also, restocking is unlikely at this stage. The minimum quantity has to be met before they start production again, assuming that happens in the time frame given. We don't know how long that time frame is, but if a part is on backorder for a certain time and the minimum quantity for production has not been met, they change the status to 'no longer available'. I've been told by my colleague that this is the most likely scenario.

You can leave your order with Nissan though, however we cannot guarantee when the key will become available, if at all. The advantage of keeping your order with Nissan is that it contributes to the minimum quantity for production. But if your order is the only one there for a certain amount of time (which i can assure you it it not) they may just make the part NLA.

So guys, at this point I have left an open inquiry of 25 uncut keys of BOTH president and Q45(50). There is a slight deposit I have invested on doing this so lets hope for the best. The president silver key is available still @ 289.96 USDM as well as some wallet keys. This may/may not happen but will keep posting
