I know this sounds basic, but I am having problems with the top 3 bolts holding the transmission to the engine. Some help and advice on how to get to these bolts would be awesome.

I am having to replace my auto transmission. So if anyone is looking to sell one, let me know. I have a '93 240sx fastback SE.

Thanks again for the help!

Jeff

the topmost bolt i losened with a wrench and a cheater pipe front the passenger side of the car standing up. (still very hard to get it on through the tangled mess back there)

the other two side bolts should be fairly easily accessed with a swivel and extension like altiman said.

you can gain easier access to the bolts if the engine is tilted back more, you can either pull down more on the end of the transmission or try jacking up the front of the oil pan. Be gentle though use wood so you dont crush the pan.
