went to the local nissan dealer to talk to the manager about a 1994 300zxtt that was sitting behind the dealer . the car had been in a rollover accident and was a complete write off . anyway i go in and talk to the manager and he says i can have the car if i can remove it from the lot cuz it was abandoned a while back back there. so anyway i go back to the car to figure out what i wanted to do with it , it has no engine or transmission and i cant use th brakes as its been sitting on them for the wheels have been removed .
it does have its intercoolers , i pulled one and took it home with me :

im a little scared to take the whole car as im not sure if someone owns it (like insureance company) and if this manager is being a **** and just saying this to screw with the ownerof the car, there isnt much left of it either , its been sitting behind the dealer for a year and a half . im thinking im just going to grab boath intercoolers and leave the car , id hate to get into trouble over this , not to mention these things new cost $1500 a pop from nissan
id offer to pull the other stuff off of it for you guys but the legal side of this has me quite scared ....
at any rate project G20 has its intercooler for free , too bad i feel like a criminal
what do you guys think , should i put the intercooler back and forget it ?

Grab that car. Get the dealer to write a letter stating that the car has been there over 30 days and they asked you to haul it off. I've gotten a 89 240SX parts car and a 82 Sentra like that. Trying on another 240SX right now. Its been sitting in a guy back yard for 2-3 years now, he says it has fuel trouble. Don't be worried if you get a letter stating they *asked* you to haul it off.

i tell ya what AZ if i snag this thing ill let ya know , got no prob pulling the diff , ill send ya the whole unit , we shalls ee , ill talk to afew freinds with flatbeds and see what i can get done , got the second intercooler tonight and the ducting for the left side , the G is gonna look so stock it will be scary

Seems to me if the dealer told you that you can take it, THEY would be the ones getting in trouble if it turns out that someone else actually owns the car. So thus, just toss them a couple bucks and call up a tow truck and be done with it.

hmm 1994 300z twin turbo
im not sure about the "frame" the tail is pretty messed up and im pretty sure its unibody , might not be salvageable without going to a full roll cage to get some of the integrity back , not to mention shipping from central alaska to wherever your at
there is a few pics of it on the above link in the beginning of the thread , if i get this car ill have deatiled photos of it for anyone that needs anything off of it , price for parts will be 14 bucks plus shipping... 14 bucks is my equivlaent of a bottle of captain morgan rum that i drink
which in turn covers labor :beer
anyway first things first i have to find someone to tow and store it for me , i got a couple buddys that might , once i get that ill go forward with the papers
looked at it somemore last night , most of the dash is there outside the HVAC stuff and stereo ,passangers window is there , healight projecotrs are still good , but im takeing those to adapt to the G20, the complete wireing harness im not sure if ecu is there tho as i cant remeber where its at ont he z car , will go to the jim wolfe site and find out later , brakes and suspesion is still on the car but the back is resting on the rotors , diff might be there ,rack and pinoin are there but the airbag has deployed , whitch is odd because its a roll over crash , the G forces present when it landed must have de seated the ball inside the sensor , seats are gone . just gives you a idea of what i have acess to ....ill keep you guys posted on what i do , if i do this ill post a new thread in the forsale ads
