I searched through pages and pages of threads and I was not able to find a similar issue to my problem, so please be kind. I am stuck at the top of my driveway, blocking all the other cars, with 1'+ snow drifts (NY). Not my day lol.

I have a 2010 Rogue SL with keyless entry/ignition and an autostart which was factory installed by the previous owner, which uses my stock keyfob for initiate. According to a manual in my car it has a Pursuit Pro 9233N keyless alarm upgrade module.

I was able to auto start my car this morning to warm it up in the snow but when I got in the car, pressed the brake (killing the engine, just like I always do since I do not have a bypass), and attempted to start the engine manually it clicks forward but the starter does not engage. When I push the ignition in the GREEN key indicator flashes, I can rotate forward to the on position, but when I continue turning, the car won't attempt to start. Despite repeated attempts, I have been unable to get my car to start.

I can still auto-start my car, so I know there is nothing wrong with the battery, starter, engine, etc... just my manual ignition being immobilized.

I have tried disconnecting the battery. Using the physical key in the ignition, and placing the alarm system into manual valet mode but nothing has worked. I am at a loss at this point and don't know what else to try. Please let me know if anyone has experienced anything similar or if anyone has ANY ideas that I can try. I doubt I can even get a tow truck to come move my car in this weather.

I believe Rogue has a safety feature that prevents it from cracking if it is started already. Maybe something wrong with the wire (maybe with the aftermarket system)
Can you try turn your car to on (but not start), and use the remote to start the car (if I understand you correctly, you have a remote start). Make sure car is in park.
That can temporarily get you moving.

That is true, I am unable to turn the ignition while the car is started already unless there is a key bypass installed (which makes it really easy to steal the car). That being said, my normal routine is to get in the car, kill the engine using the brake, then manually using the keyless ignition to start. It won't start that way. I tried auto-starting with the ignition turned on, also no dice.

The only thing I've successfully done is unlocked the gear shift so I can now shift it into gear while its autostarted, but I can only use my e-brake to stop :/ This has allowed me to get out of the driveway to get everyone else going. I may need to have it towed to Nissan on Monday :/

This sounds like a safety switch/relay of some kind that is not working properly, which also could be related to that auto start device you have installed. Just for kicks check the fuses both under the dash and the hood maybe the "simple" is the solution.

Have you tried auto starting the car, leaving it running and place the key in the ignition and turning it to the "on" position. Then hit the brake pedal. What does that do?

I did try that as well but the ignition locks when the car is autostarted. I went out to move the car using auto-start, unlocking my gear shifter with a screwdriver, and using the e-brake. Unfortunately, as I should have known, as soon as I applied any pressure to the gas pedal, the car shut off. Then I thought I was really screwed so I gave the ignition one last shot...and it worked! I haven't the slightest idea why though. When I get in the car I still get the "red key" symbol so I'm curious if its just functioning because I left it in valet mode. In any case, I plan on leaving it in valet mode until I can bring it to Nissan to have them sort it out.

Just a temporarily solution if it happen again for you.

Turn the key to on (but don't start the car)
Use the auto-start to start the car
Step on the brake, which should kill the security system but keep engine running because ignition is on

The car should continue running
(by the way, I think you meant remote-start when you say auto-start) :)

I did, in-fact, mean my remote start, thank you for clarifying. I had attempted to remote-start the car with the ignition turned to the ON position, but the remote function would not activate. I had forgotten to document that I had tried that pretty quickly hoping it would work.

My sister-in-law had a similar issue in her Altima and the dealership was able to replace one of the key sensors and solve the problem. Hoping its the same when I get there. Thanks again for all the suggestions.
