Unable to Open Passenger Door

Hello, I have a Nissan 240SX and the passenger door will not open. i have tried using the key on the exterior, I have pulled the interior handle off but I am unable to pull the entire door panel as I am unable to get the door open. I have pulled on the handle rod and locking rod from where it connected to the interior handle and still the door would not open then I tried to use a slim jim to unlock it from the outside and was able to pull on the handle rod as the exterior handle would move as I pulled on the slim jim but the door still would not open...if any one else has had this problem and was able to fix it, I would really appreciate any insight or ideas on how to get the door open so I can take the interior door panel off.

its probably locked. this sounds crazy but take out the passenger seat through the drivers side. then remove the door panel. Its still not going to want to come out because there is a screw that goes in behind where the dash covers the door panel but you should be able to get to the latch by pulling back the door panel. also you will want to spend some time examining the latch on either the drivers side (keeping in mind its reverse than the pass) or check out one in a junkyard because your not going to be able to see what your doing. then you will need to reach in and unlock the latch and try to open it. if that wont work the next step is not going to be fun and involves power tools and cutting your door off basically. again i know this sounds crazy but if you cannot unlatch the door the only other way to get it open is to cut the latch off the door being mindful not to cut the door pillar because you can replace the door and not the pillar.
