Unable to downshift into 3rd

My trans has recently devloped the inablility to be downshifted into 3rd. I can upshift into it fine, just a little synco grind (very little) once in a while. I have tried downshifting from 5th and 4th with no luck, even double clutching it. I've tried to get the gears to mesh by depressing the clutch and revving the motor but that doesn't work. The only way I can downshift into 3rd is to bring the car to a near stop (which is useless), or to not use the clutch at all and just match the speed of the gears, but only when I'm around 35-40 mph from 4th.

I've pretty much assumed that its my trans, particularly the 3rd gear syncro, but I figured I'd ask here to see if anyone else had any advice.

I would probably change the fluid to some MT-90 Redline Gear Fluid. It does wonders for a transmission but if it's too far gone, then it really don't do anything except help the other gear syncros. Still better then others IMHO.
