Mike - Welcome to NICO!

The 90-95 Q45 uses OBDI diagnostics. Members here use OBD1 products like Consult, Blatz, or EcuTalk. The search utility will bring up posts on different OBD1 USB cables. I believe most OBD1 software is free for downloading.

My 91 model doesn't have TCS so I can't offer much help in that area.

Where are you located? We might be able to recommend some help in your area.

I believe we have some members in the Jax/Orlando area who might be able to recommend a shop. If you get up to Atlanta, there is a shop named T3 automotive that has been used by many club members on the east coast. http://t3automotive.com/

Hey Mike, I'm in Jax Florida also and I have a Consult clone adapter. I'll be off starting this Thursday on a small vacation. What part of town are you on? I've been on here for a while, you can take a look through my posts. I don't post as much as some here but when I do, it is usually something big or I am really having trouble with it.

Drive the vehicle at 30 MPH (Set the cruise control on a level surface) and after a minute both the SLIP and TCS OFF lights will blink. Record the number of times they blinked and find the corresponding fault code in the service manual.

Use a Nissan Consult to check the condenser fan or follow the instructions in the service manual.

Burnt bulb, Blown fuse (Like Goody said)...

Mike, I work in that area as the yard I work out of for at&t U-verse is on Atlantic blvd and Arlington rd. I've got my car in the shop right now in the process of getting the pinch weld to the windshield repaired and new glass installed. I'll be off up until the 13th. So maybe we can meet up at your place or something.

It looks like Matt has exactly what you need. The Consult clone adapter is the cable that plugs into his laptop loaded with the free consult program that can read/clear codes and perform the diagnostics you're looking for. Log onto NICO, go into User Profile, and enable the PM function so you can contact Matt. You have an offer of help waiting.

Or you can contort your torso into the passenger side kick panel area and pull the codes manually by removing the ECU to get to the screw and LED on the back side. You'll need a phillips screwdriver and a 10mm socket/wrench. See InfinityGuy's post in your other thread and follow this link to Checking ECU Codes. I recommend contacting Matt.
