I picked up a full set of ultraracing braces(from microimage) for the 09 Versa. I had a few min today to get the Rear Sway and Sedan rear strut brace. The install was straight forward, just a little adjustment on the upper holes for the strut brace.

A little on the bars...They look to be built very nicely. Good finish. The Sway bar went right in. The rear strut brace took a few extra min. My 09 had a smaller hole that what was required for the supplied bolts. I opened it up just a tad and the rest was simple. I was even able to keep the carpet with very little modification.... SCORE!!

Anyway the Versa rear lower brace(the one that mounts right next to the sway bar) did not go on yet. I was installing it and it is too close for comfort for the sedan exhaust. It will rub going over bumps....... I will add a 1/4" spacer and do new bolts...then all will be fine. The front braces will go on when I install the struts. On the way (thanks bob)

There is a HUGE improvement in stiffness in the rear. The car is WAY more compliant that it was. I didn't even get out of my neighborhood and noticed them. Good stuff...

Here are the Pics for today's work.

Nice to see the sway bar from the back too

Love the sway bar...... good stuff.

The Rear Lower brace will needs some modification to fit. I think it's a sedan thing. It just needs a little spacing. I was going to move the exhaust up, but room is limited. It will be installed soon.

The Front Lower brace will go on when I do the springs and struts.

The DC front strut bar will go on when the struts go on....uses the same bolts

Did you buy new stuts to go along with your lowering springs?I am still using my OEM ones but I was thinking that it probably isn't a good idea since its about 2" lower (Megan Racing Springs). I got a second job (all the checks go to new things for my V!) so I will be getting a bunch of new stuff pretty soon. Just looking at some options.

Do you feel a big difference in handling with the brace thats in the trunk? What about the one on the bottom? I like the looks of them, but if I get them I will have to spray paint them Orange like I did with the interior.

I did order new struts... .should be here this week....Thanks Bob from VersaSpeed (TOKICO's HP Series) I will do everything at the same time... springs, struts, strut bar(front), lower front brace, lower rear brace and adjustable bolts and shims.

Yes the trunk brace and sway bar made a HUGE change for the good

Did you purchase all of the braces from VersaSpeed? I haven't seen the rear one or the one in the trunk before. If not could you please post the site for me to possibly purchase them?

Thanks in advanced :D
