i think the sedan's rear brace is different.Clean_4th gen wrote:Looking good. Is the sedan rear strut bar installed in the same spot?
yeh it all depends on how u use ur trunk i guess. my gf barely uses hers and she wants her versa to handle better..rear sway bar is next..seems like the sedan rear brace is a lot bigger and takes more room?Clean_4th gen wrote:Thanks for the info. You got me thinking now...dont think I wanna gut my trunk!
yeh it sucks that the panels have to come off. but some ppl make that sacrifice for performance.Clean_4th gen wrote:Dont really use it much, but I love how clean it looks. And not really, it looks like it's flat, I wouldn't be able to put the side panels back on though.
Clean_4th gen wrote:Thats true, I'll probably get it and cut the panels to make it fit WITH the panels.
If it's attached to the rear shocks between the rubber insulators then it's more for show then go...a true strut bar would be attached to the shock towers and go from tower to tower in as strait of line as you could and this one angle's forward so you can still use the trunk area....unless the design has changed since I last saw/worked with one. The same goes for there rear sway bar.....it's just follows the stock rear suspension beam and if you've ever had a chance to see a Versa/Cube rear suspension beam out of the car.....it's heavier then hell and would take a lot to flex!williamk10 wrote:notice any difference in handling?
I noticed that on the dealer lot.versaspeed.com wrote:if you've ever had a chance to see a Versa/Cube rear suspension beam out of the car.....it's heavier then hell and would take a lot to flex!
So why is the rear sway bay more expensive than the front and rear lower braces? I wondered the same thing as well. The rear sway bar just runs along the suspension beam..it can't possibly do too muchversaspeed.com wrote:The same goes for there rear sway bar.....it's just follows the stock rear suspension beam and if you've ever had a chance to see a Versa/Cube rear suspension beam out of the car.....it's heavier then hell and would take a lot to flex!williamk10 wrote:notice any difference in handling?
