Ultra Music Festival is an outdoor electronic music event held annually in Miami, Florida during the Winter Music Conference which occurs annually during the month of March. It is a 2-day event (although it was a 1-day event until 2007) that takes place across 12 different stages featuring over 200 artists, DJs, producers and promoters.

Anyone from here going? Me and a bunch of my friends are heading down. Need to know if anyone has been there before if VIP tix are worth the cash and also where is a good place to stay overnight?

Duuuuude, UMF is sweet. I went this year for the first time, and will definitely be going back in 2010. Razah9 and some of his friends came down this past festival, but we couldn't meet up. I don't think VIP tickets are worth it unless you don't want to wait in line to get drinks. Even then, I think it's way too overpriced. As far as where to stay, the closer the better; that way you can stumble out the gates and into your room(s). No suggestions on any particular hotel though. See if you can get in touch Razah9 to see what his hotel suggestions are; as he comes down for the Winter Music Conference every year (IIRC). Any of us on here that go to UMF next year should meet up!

ya its amazing i have been there for the last 4 years it never gets old... and i will be there this year and i think every who likes this kind of music should experince it at least once in there life its crazy.the week before ultra all the dj's are at different club all over miami.

who ever is coming down to ultra let us know so we can meet up, it would be cool to meet other coupe owners from around the country.

Dang, seems like a good bit of coupers make it out to UMF. We should try to meet up next year!On a side note, I will never ever buy will call tickets again. I missed the acts I most wanted to see while waiting in line for three hours.
