I think you need to rework that list. Or it might just be your priorities are else where on this build.

Looks like a good start for the most part. I think more people should itemize this like you have. Don't forget to include shipping charges because they will add about 15% to your total price.

Ditch the BOV, not necessary.Ditch the entire listing under the "sexy stage" category. Actually, if you are fast enough and can delete that last image, it will save some ribbing.

basically for spares, im getting new rims and tires lateron

i just itemize things in a master list to keep things organized

this may take me a year or longer to fully get everything

but those are just for testing and ripping for fun, not for anything specal because they are so cheap i can tear them up

thanks for the reply

thanks yeah i always organize big buys like this, if i find a better deal i just go back and delete the old one and put the new one down and all that

and 15% is a good guess on shipping i was wonering that today where i could factor that in so thanks

the bov isnt necessary, i always thought it was a good idea to have one, i was going to get one and then try and silence it(i dont want people knowing i have turboed), but if you say i dont need one, whats the difference in performance without one

and that last stage is just to make it look good in about a year or so when everything mechanical is done

im a performance based person not so much aesthetics, but if i had money left over i would use it making it look good

thanks for the reply any other advice you could add feel free

look into renting a cherry picker if you are only going use it for this build only. I can find a crane and engine stand for alot cheaper than 282.. I have a C type engine stand, RES-1250, that is rated for 1250 lbs.. I got it for $60 including shipping.

how do you plan cooling the engine? radiator hoses, thermostat...(so on)

ditch the vertical doors, and neon lights... they make you slower, and more rice boy... if you want respect for the larger crowd.. ditch them.

You won't need a BOV because your motor will come with one and it recirculates the air back into the intake so it doesn't sputter/stall when you let off the gas.

You will get enough attention just by having the RB25 installed (some of it unwanted). You don't need doors and lights to attract attention like slow cars do.

silvia - he has DS, mounts and axles all listed together in one line.

I can agree with Darius! Just concentrate in getting the car running then, on the performance /looks! As for attention you will definately get it! All the old guys (Age: 60+ not kidding.. i live in florida!) in my neighborhood, just swing bye to laugh cuz it aint running ( thats alittle of unwanted att, mixed with humor!) .....anyways, good luck!

i dont know if you can see it, but i was going to use a fal i think its called, dual electric fans and i might get a new radiatior though, all the hoses, wires, etc.. arent on the list i will pick those up at a hardware store or like kragen

piping i will get done by a friend for the intercooler and exhuast

so now i can take off expenses for the neons (which was optional anyway), lambo doors (which saves me like 8 bills) and the exhuast my friend is doing now

i appreciate the input, thank you

oh yeah totaly, i did so much research, like 20-30 hours of research looking at the same part and same brand on different sites looking for cheaper ones

if their is any specific parts you want a link too let me know and i will show you the full link

where could i get a factory service manual??

i have no idea what the deal is with my car, it was a drift car before i bought it, its a drift car now, it just has a cracked dash, so i found a dash for like 132 or i could get a cover for 33 and save the bill just two options

thanks for the reply

By pretty, I hope you mean a classy paint job and a nice set of Works, Volks, any other nice rims of the sort, and not blaze orange with outrageous rims. Also by headlights/tails please dont put euro trash lights on there.

o yah and most likely you wont be happy with cheap seats. Most of the cheap nock-off seats fit terribly and arent the best quality. Also a good set of aproved harnesses are going to cost you more than 60.

Not to bash just trying to help steer you in the correct direction.

oh no, i dont think anything people says on this topic is bashing

i went cheap on the looks because im more about the performance

and everything about my car was going to be low key since im taking off the doors and the neons

it would be jet black and black rims nothing crazy

thanks for you input

If you were cheap AND smart about looks, youd leave your car stock on the exterior.

Also, I say do what you want to do. (in regards to exterior)

It's your money, it's your car. Don't let others "tell" you what you like. That's not a hit on anyone specifically, but just in general.

yeah for sure

well eventually i will have the kit on there, its just a matter of money

and since im more of a performance person i would rather invest in a fast car that looks slow than a slow car that looks fast

thanks for your responce
