Anyone following the events in the Ukraine? I guess the opposition leader was poisoned and Kiev has been at a standstill for two weeks. Just wanted to see everyone's take on things in Ukraine.bud

its a long story... every media source has a different take on it and I think no one has the straight shake. My fiancee is ukranian and her parents and brother are back home, and its a big mess. There has been a vote of no confidence in the current prime minister, the US is backing one candidate, russia the otehr, the election results weren't counted because of the corruption. There is a lot of talk about ukraine splitting... and if ukraine splits, who knows what would happen. America would probably invest heavily in the western side, and russia would fight desperatly to keep its port connections open on the black sea. Its a messy situation..
