Yeeaah so I'm sorta embarassed to admit it... but I took my girl to see Rent on Broadway this weekend, and I actually kinda enjoyed it!

yeah yeah.... I know, I know... but really- it was my first broadway show and I have to say, it was pretty entertaining. I enjoyed the whole theater experience, and I thought the songs were pretty catchy sometimes. (SOMETIMES! SOMETIMES!)

haha so anyone ever been to a Broadway show? which ones did you see and reccomend?

haha, you loser fiz. they all suck. I was forced to see that Catz play a few years ago. Needless to say, I was traumatized by this experience.

You don't have to be gay just cause you see Broadway shows

I have seen Rent and Phantom of the Opera and I am seeing The Lion King in November. I have also seen a local production of The Secret Garden.

I highly recommend Phantom, it is a very visual musical and I liked it a lot.

Never seen a B-Way show. Never been to an opera, or a play, or a musical, or the ballet...

No surprise there, eh? :D

I've been to many Broadway shows, having grown up near NYC and living about an hour from NYC (by train). My wife entertains clients in NY, so I see shows a few times per year. Operas and ballets no dice, but B-Way shows, sure.

The hot ticket will soon be The Producers as it is rumored Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick (Sarah Jessica Butterface's hubbie) are going to reprise their roles.

Next NY show I think I'm going to go to is the Blue Man Group with my son. Supposed to be excellent.
