Well.. Long story short..

Bought a 93 240 about 6 months ago, need some work, but eventually got it running. Ran great for 3 months, and drove it to ohio to see my mother. Once arriving my fuel injector started giving me hell.

So it sat at my mothers for about 2 months (no tools) till I got some funds together to get it hauled down to florida to work on it.

Now heres where it gets a little strange. Before loading it up and hauling it down, I noticed that there was oil all over the garage floor, and the dipstick was bone dry.

So got down here, car sat for a few days, and I just started tearing into the motor today.

Got everything tore down to this:

And I decided to check and make sure there was no Oil in the motor, so i pulled the dipstick and to my surprise I got soaked with gas thinned oil. (It actually squirted out of the dipstick)

So me and my father scratched our head and decided to continue tearing the motor down. We got the head off and looked in the cylinders and there was about 1 inch of gas/oil in each.

So i climbed under and pulled the drain plug.. And Holy sh*t, we filled a 5 gal bucket about 1/4 of the way with gas/oil...

The only thing I can think of is that all that gas was sitting in the cylinders, and crankshaft. One day it was dry as a desert, and the next its full as an ocean... But I dont get how? Maybe something we disconnected while pulling the head?

Just for reference this is how far we are once we called it quits, for beer time this evening After drying the cylinders..

Perhaps there was fuel in one of the cylinders that leaked past the piston rings. That would have to be one bad leak though. Did someone try running engine cleaner in the oil then forget to remove it?

One, or a maybe more of the injectors could of been bad and stuck open.
