Just pulled into my driveway and I let the car idle for a little since I dont have a turbo timer. Well about 2 minutes go by and I start to see white spoke billowing from the engine bay I run out and I notice oil leaking right where the vband clamps(Yellow arrow) on the manifold and the temp gauge is thru the roof.

Now i have done this plenty of times with no problems and even had a coolant flush done 2 day ago. The motor was so hot I could hear the coolant in the resvoir boiling. What Im really worried about is the oil leaking from the turbo. Is she done, motor and turbo. I wanted to wait to see what response I will recieved before I start her up again.

Thanks in advance...
Yellow arrow point to where it was leaking.

without being there, chances are an air pocket is in the cooling system, re bleed it.
If the turbo chra got toooo hot it could be bad, but they are used to extreme conditions.

Change the oil its probably toasted.
Funny my electric fan failed and my car overheated, as well as trying to catch fire via the condenser fan relay/wiring. Its scary cause the ebay headgasket...

Yeah I'd start by bleeding the cooling system and changing the oil as stated above. After that, let it run for a while and see if it still leaks anywhere. Maybe do a compression test.

Ok guys thanks for the advice. I'm going to redo the coolant and change the oil. Actually the oil probaly only as about 50 miles on it but I'm going to change it anyway. Also have to change the clutch and install afr gauge I'm not going to drive it till then. I did start it and the motor sounds good. Does anyone where I get a new oil seal for the turbo just in case, are they easy to get?

make sure u change oil it will b burned an as for turbo e bay sell kits an no they are not easy only one way to do it with out sending it in to have blanced an that is to mark out ever thing that spins as u take it apart. i did mine that way an it works great an others have done this to. they take time to get apart so stay calm an take time an there are lots of threds on it to help u.

before you go ahead and change the turbo seal, did u have any smoke coming from the exhaust during driving? if not i dont think ur oil seal from the turbo is blown. how is your pcv system? if the blowby gasses are not taken care of properly i have seen oil leak through the exhaust manifold and the exhaust side of the turbo itself. Just some input hope this helps.

Yes, white smoke does come from the car while driving, i thought it was due to the tune because i have been drving it without an afr gauge(i know bad) and could have high or low ratio's. Now you have me another mission. I believe it doesnt have an oil restricter by talking to the previous owner today. He told me where he bought the turbo from so im going to take it to the guy and see what the dealioh is..praying its just a seal.. I get on the pcv system too. Thank you

I dont think its oil burning off because it only puts out a puff of smoke when i give it gas where the yellow arrow is.

First thing I would do is smell the smoke both at the turbo and at the tailpipe. The smell will tell you what the smoke is.
