NX wet system. Running a 50 shot. I have the bottle warmer, purge, WOT, Window Switch, etc etc. Need to re-dyno badly. The new intercooler allowed .16 (EDITED DUE TO MY MATH SUCKING) bar more boost on the SAME wastegate duty cycle. Not to mention I am running 7 degrees more advanced timing. The car absolutely flys. Current weight is 2580 like I thought it would be. Had the drag radials out this weekend and cleaned up the town.

Here's another shot of my friend who got his turbo kit installed. He is my twin but wrong drivetrain....

Hey can you run that by me again? Sounds like something Vin Diesel would say in F&F8. Doesnt make much sense to me haha.

Love your car! How much boost are you running now and what is your total timing at?Also what kinda turbo and octane do you use?

nice holy....looks very intimidating...just curious how much was the whole nitrous kit including the extra stuff all together? and how long did it take for you to install it

My previous intercooler was so inefficient at my power level that simply by swapping intercoolers, at the same wastegate duty cycle on the AVCR, I am running .16 bar more boost. So previously on the dyno I was hitting 1.62 bar and now I am hitting 1.78 bar consistently. So 23.8 psi vs 26.2 psi.

On anything higher than 1.2 bar I am using straight 110 octane, NO mix. The nitrous kit was bought on LS1Tech.com. 400 shipped. (USED) Easily the best place to buy a kit. Pain in the butt to hook up due to all the wires and stuff.

My new timing is 7 degrees more advanced as compared to last time I dynoed. So base timing 22 degrees timing. I was at 15 degrees base on the dyno.

So what are the details on the old and new intercooler setups?

Went from a 23.5(end tank to end tank) x 8 x 3 Spearco to a 31.5 (end tank to end tank) x 14 x 3 Sakura Industries Bar and Plate. The old intercooler was good up to about 300-330 I would say past that it started to get hot and when I was running 1.6 bar the pressure drop was just bad.

It's like having instant torque. The window switch is set up from 3,000 to 6,000 rpm. It's just BAM and then the boost is already there and spooled.

I have a fiancee' so she would kill me if I said yes LOL!!!

I ran it on the track old timing tune/no spray/old intercooler. I forgot to air down the drag radials so I just spun halfway through 3rd. I wound up with a 120mph trap speed though! The tracks are closed so I have to wait till like late February or early March to run again, but this time will be better anyways.

So about that Sakura IC...

It is a tube and fin correct?

Tube and fin are known to flow better but have less resistance (cooling capacity) than bar and plate cores like the Spearco. The fins on the Sakura look pretty straight which further reduces the cooling ability.

Do you know what the IATs are before and after? Would make a good comparison!

Mine is bar and plate. I dunno what the IAT's were but physically to the touch the cold side is much colder than previously. *shrug*

JDM B16 with Greddy Turbo Kit/E-Manage/Greddy IC. Only running 7 psi on the base tune. The horribly restrictive downpipe/elbow set-up on those Greddy kits is what takes away a bunch of the power. It goes to a 1.5 inch bottlekneck on the elbow and the downpipe itself is only 2" if I remember correctly.

Wow that's pretty restrictive, are the 240sx kits that way too.

Most likely not as badly, but remember the Greddy kit is designed to be emissions low and reliability high which means performance is gonna suck. You should see the manifold it comes with, it's pretty bad too. But the kit is pretty much turnkey and it is very reliable so *shrug*.
