crap - I always seem to end up with a car on this list (legally!)

Thanks for posting... also reminds me that I need to hide my wheel lock "key"

edit: sure are a lot of GM trucks and SUVs on that list

interesting... i know for a fact wheel locks will only deter a rookie thief, so im not getting attatched to my wheels. I dont keep nothing in my car that is of value in hope that there would be no reason for a thief to bust my windows. But it would take a very advance thief to actually take a G37 and get past our key system. I'd be sad and impressed at the same time if someone actually took my car. (the thief probably got a dealer hookup or flat bed truck)

worst case you get your window(s) busted and lose your wheels i can live with that risk, but i try not to park in any shady looking areas.

Or if they had access to one of those car repo roll backs. We watched them pluck a Z-car out of our lot in about 3 minutes one day. Hooked it up...jerked it up on the bed and took off. Whole time there was a passenger in the front seat for look out.

crazy that GM spends all that money advertising onstar and it's security features and theft recovery.. clearly it's not a deterrent for theives as they rank in 7 of the top 10 positions.

I just got my insurance renewal and my annual premium went up. I called my carrier and they stated the G went into a more expensive rating class :frown:

I was afraid that was going to happen. Sux!

When I had my WS6, my insurance was $80 more per year just because it was a WS6 and not a regular Trans Am. It only had like 15 extra h.p. but for some reason WS6's were wrecked/totaled a lot more than just a regular TA.
