Survey results for the ugliest car of 2005. The results aren't shocking, but I do like the 300, except the interior quality. I'm glad they didnt mention the CTS, or else I'd be pissed (I want one).

Amen.

But the list kinda sucked. The Magnum is HOT! The 300 is hot. And the avalanche, which can now be had sans plastic, is hot.I think the Baja is the best looking subaru, period. The PT cruiser isn't ugly, it's just cute...both are bad, but the ugliest cars of 1005 should be physically painful to look at, not just cute.I like the element. I'd like it more if it didn't have rubbermaid quarterpanels. The scion xB is infinitely better looking than the xA. The xA is near the top of my ugliest cars of 2005 list.

When people ask me what my top ten ugliest cars are, I respond with "Toyota makes more than 10 cars...can't narrow it down that much."

The Honda Element should have been #1 and then the Pontiac Aztek. Because the Element is an ugly piece of s***.

They're judgement sucks, the 300 and Magnum are both nice. I could think of lots of cars that are worse than most that list, although I think the Element and Aztec are definatly the worst two.

I don't think the PT Cruiser belongs on that list, if you look at the new ones compared to the original ones there is a very subtle change in the body curves and the rounding of lights to give it a slighlyt more ouncy muscular look. I've seen a few recently that look hot with factory chrome rims and bumper packages.

I think the Porsche Cayenne deserves to be on that list. The RX330 is a strong contender too....SC430...ES300...yep, almost the entire Lexus lineup. Though the current Q aint far off that list. Good thing they upgraded it this year.

Yes they are nasty.

But the new non-verts can be hot.

On the way to nationals, I got stuck behind a very pimped out one going across Hoover dam (which is about a 3 hour affair...basically park and have your lunch, for those not familiar with it). It was pretty cool. Good flame paintjob, with color shifting paint. Good chrome wheels with neither too many spokes nor too much metal, those flame-tip taillights that are so small and dim they shouldn't be (and probably aren't) legal. It had good aftermarked bumpers; subtle but better. And it had nice rocker panels that made it look like it had sidepipes, but didn't look like rocker panels trying to look like they had sidepipes...that made sense right? The only dumb thing was the CHMSL. It was a word, but it was such a stupid, pointless word that had nothing to do with anything that I don't remember it. Kind of like people who use "inside jokes" as their vanity plates...that's not cool or funny...it's really stupid because you are the only one who knows what the f*** it means.

I want some sandwhiches

Isn't the PT Cruiser just a Neon underneath? No way that can be or resemble a musclecar.

Yeah, it's a neon. But I know people with neons that can destroy Vipers.

It's not supposed to be a performance car, no one said that. But they can LOOK cool.

I want salami on rye, DAMMIT!

"It looks the way Montezuma's revenge feel."

despite the grammar. i got a good chuckle outta that. only cars i believe belong on there are teh aztek, element, baja, and that plastic behemoth that is the avalanche. I would have put the corolla S and lexus RX on there among other toyota creatures.

Okay...I've decided on MY 10* ugliest cars of 2005 list:

1.) the Scion xA2.) the Lexus RX3003.) Toyota Camry Solara4.) Toyota Corrolla S5.) Toyota Celica6.) Honda Civic Si7.) Chevrolet Monte Carlo8.) Lexus SC9.) Lexus ES10.) Toyota Avalon

*This list is assembled with the understanding that ALL Toyota products are ugly. It is also assembled with the understanding that Korean cars are not eligible, else a list of only 10 cars would not be possible. Fortunately, this is not 1997, or I'd be forced to write a similar statement with regards to Ford.(Non-Italian) European cars are all ugly, and cannot be considered for a "ten ugliest" list as there are more than 10. Ahh, s***...Buick, too...good thing Olds is dead...Pontiac...all are exempt due to entire-lineup ugliness. This is really not easy at all!
