Ahh, I see. Yeah, I'm definitely not sure about the whole "full body controller" concept. Most Wii games don't actually work very well with motion controls, and a lot of games would work much better with traditional controls. Most of the time it just feels tacked on and gets in the way. Part of the Wii's problem is lack of resolution on the controller's behalf...something that's kind of been solved with Wii Motion Plus but games have to be designed specifically for that device to take advantage of it.
Natal is more than just motion controls, though. It actually "sees." Peter Molyneaux (aka Mr. Broken Promises) is working on a "game" that features a kid named Milo who interacts with you. You can give him objects...one demonstration shows the player handing Milo a drawing...a hand drawing the player drew. The player passes it above the screen as though he's tossing it to Milo. The Natal device, mounted at the top of the screen, scans the image. So Milo has the hand-drawn picture in the game now. You can throw balls to him, or food...The ability for object recognition is really cool.
But I'm definitely not interested in playing games by moving around "realistically" unless it creates enhanced control precision in an interesting way. I want to RELAX playing games.
