My fellow Ben, now that you have mentioned the absense of 'big wings', they will for sure now be added

Yah, I have noticed and I can't say I am surprised at all. I wasn't expecting them to actually take a car and make it worth while, just take a car and slap some stickers on it and pretend that it's all fixed and stuff. They put some much stereo stuff in them because the cars still run like shiz, but if you have the stereo up loud enough you can't hear the car! hahahaha

APC the company, its parts, employees and affiliates should never be allowed near a car

a 'pimp my ride' kinda show. I think it comes on Discovery channel. Is this the show where they 'steal' the car and then give it back all decked out? I saw a kid with a Chevy truck. He wanted to be a search and rescue volunteer, so they gave him hundreds of $$ worth of equipment and the nicest, most realistic flame paint job Ive ever seen.

I've seen an absolutely awesome 56 Bel Air go in with 4 doors and beat to hell, come out with two doors, a convertible top, an amazing engine and even better paint job. Plus all sorts of sweet suspension and huge Baer brakes. It was sex.

I'd say that 90% of the episodes I've seen have resulted in pretty cool cars. It's definitely a world above "Pimp my Ride". I do have to say that I did wince when I saw that APC was involved in that one episode. I hope they don't do that again.

Overhaulin' and Rides makes for a good two hours of automotive TV.

Yeah, I wouldn't say Overhaulin is much like Pimp my Ride. Overhaulin actually takes very hard working talented people and lets them at it....not the bling bling boys from cali.

Overhaulin actually cares about the performance of a vehicle, not the stereo. They only do a ton of electronics when that is what will please the owner. Most the time, it's a nicely restored classic, with a Chip Foose twist on it, which makes it even cooler IMO.

Overhaulin and Rides are both pretty damn good. It was weird to see them "pimp" out that last ride though...because all of their previous work was kick ***. Making of the Lambo was awesome on rides btw
