No where near what you should.

Total honesty, you'd be lucky to get $5500-ish.

A true long time Q owner would know what it's worth, and few of us can afford a second or third or fourth.

Return it to stock, sell that for ~$4k, and sell off the other parts (wheels, NOS, 4.11, etc). That will get you a lot closer to $6k total.

The fact that Ricks Q is retarded clean it should pull a good amount of money even without the goodies. Im thinking 5000 considering how clean it is.

Seriously, this thing is so clean its stupid.

I think that might be a good car to sell on ebay if you want good money, mainly since its in such nice cosmetic condition.

I want it. I don't need it, would have to scramble for the money and would likely not get laid for several months (angry wife) but that car is THAT clean.

Well, as some of you may know my wife HATES the Q! If she knew how much I really put into it I would be dead! I think I spent 1k on just getting my headlights right! She won't even ride in it. And it makes her more angry because it just sits! I know, I'm a sissy!I need some money but if I can only get 6k forget it. I was hoping to do really well and sell the Q for a nice amount. It would make the wife happy and in a couple years she would feel sorry for me in my 85 chevet and let me get a '06 M! Now I have to just convince the wife my car isn't worth anything.

...........you know, if I was single............

What do you realistically think you'd take for it? 10k?

You'll never get what it's worth. Might as well keep it. That's what I told my wife.

Soo so true. Same with any modified car. There's guys on the turbomustangs forum who spend $30K on a car, do everything right, and end up letting it go for $10-12K. If I'd have known 6-8 years ago what I know now about this resale stuff, I woulda just bought a mostly finished project that someone else loved but had to dump.

Amen.

I bought, left stock and enjoyed my 1st Q. Bought a 2nd (rsiwicki's), already modified nicely and may have another (well maintained and better cosmetics) soon. Yes, I'm a glutton for Q-punishment.

Rick, I hope my harsh perspective on Q re-sale wasn't too "honest".

Sounds like you have a wife problem... not a car problem

What does she drive? I have to say that mine understands my anal-retentive nature a lot more since she got her G. Now I see her parking near islands and letting her car warm up before driving it too... I have converted her to the dark side

I'll be very sad if it doesn't get sold to a NICO member.

Update: Well I think I can keep her! I told my wife Wes said it was maybe worth 5K or 6K. She said who is Wes? I said he was some smart college kid who knows a lot about cars! She kinda got angry because she suspects I have spent a bundle on her. So I got my rich father in law to front me some cash! As far as the car she drives, it's an 04 Nissan Quest. Cleanest one around! She loves her minivan but has no passion for any car! She thinks cars are just one way to get from here to there. As far as understanding my nature she has no understanding! I sneek out at night just to wipe the Q down! I think I need help! Anyway, stop drulling all you losers! You can't have my Q!!

Hello,Actually, this thread is from a year ago when Superuber was still posting here. He now has an active ad for his NOS Q on Ebay. Only he does not seem to post here anymore and did not make mention he was listing it. Check out the other thread for possible reasons.Cheers,ML

Yeah, he was one of those smart guys who thought a 200 shot of nitrous was good for the engine. I wouldn't touch it.
