u12 ecu and Ostrich or chip burner/duaghter board?

I have been trying to decide which route to go. I have been reading on hybridka, here, and ka-t.org.

I know it takes a little longer to fine tune with chip burning, which i don't mind.

Any body here used a u12 ecu with emulator on their kade? Any downfalls or problems.

Any suggestion on tuning with either of these? I chose these 2 because of price.
