to quote MAXIMUS Nismo: "me thinks the V-spec is the highest level the skyline is produced in. Wait I take that back. They just made a few R34 NUR-Spec's (kickass gold/bronze color) to end the run of the current skyline (correct me if I'm wrong)"
Yes, you are correct, they did, but you are forgetting two things... the V-Spec was updated during the reigns of the R32 and R34 GT-Rs and was renamed the V-SpecII, which, while not BETTER than the NUR, it was the best "normal" version of the GT-R. You also neglected to mention the greatest (and rarest) of GT-R (though the greatness is my opinion) the 400R, a limited editon R33 with a special stripe along the side, different rims, and I believe a little extra oomph under the hood, only 40 of them were made. Just thought I'd clear that up...And... the difference btween a V-Spec and just :rolleyes a GT-R is that the V-Spec has a driver controlled VCD that can be shifted in the cockpit, to allow for power to be redistributed as the driver deems necessary : ). Also, for those of you who need a nugget of wisdom, R-33, R-34, and R-32 are NOT model distinctions, rather, they are chassis codes and the only major difference between the R-33 and both the other most recent GT-Rs is that the R-33's VCD did not allow all the power to be shifted to either pair of drive wheels, this allowed for faster launches and better handling, without the "excessive" tail-happiness the R32 and R34 GT-R's are known for... Sorry this was so long guys.
