u-joint question Please help

91 HB KA 5 spd

the u-joint that is closest to the rear diff is completely locked up!!!

are these joints servicable or do i have to replace the whole drive shaft???

need help asap

The last u-joint on the driveshaft, at the pinion yoke, is replaceable.

could you possibly explain how to do this?

You need a press or at least a vise.

Remove the driveshaftRemove the spring clips on the outside of all 4 Ujoint caps.Press the Ujoint out sideways off the driveshaft end, then the pinion yoke.

Replace.

A standard Spicer 1310 Ujoint should work. If you don't have the right tools for this, if you take the driveshaft to a driveline shop, Ujoint replacement is pretty cheap.
