Hey guys, I heard that a vibration between 45 60 MPH could be due to the driveshaft u-joint/bearring if everything else is fine, how hard and expensive is this joint to fix or change ?

scy,

I had that problem on my Turbo Regal. It was not hard or expensive to fix. Pull the driveshaft and take it to your local joint/clutch type place and have it speed balanced and u-joints replaced. It cost a whopping total of $50 to take 110mph from super scary to smooth.

...my two cents is free...

if you have an s-14 the driveshaft is non servicable. you can't replace the u joints. you have to get a new driveshaft. you might look into running a one piece shaft.a custom 1 piece would be about 375, nissan 2 piece is about 500

45-60 vibration can be a number of things... try inspecting your Tension Rod Bushings and suspension. Inspect your wheels for visable damage, which can cause vibrations. If you have aftermarket wheels often they can be mis-balanced and can cause speed sensative vibrations.
