can somebody with a type X wing (either oem or knock-off) give me the distance between the screws of each standoff and also the distance between each screw on a single standoff? (i am assuming there are 4 bolts that hold the wing onto the hatch lid)so basically...the distances X and Y if o represents each bolt location looking at the underside of the spoiler.

- o<-------------------X-------------------->oY- o<-------------------X-------------------->o someone tell me if it's the wrong bolt pattern in the first place! I'm currently doing some body work and i just took off the stock spoiler (btw..that thing was a POS), which left a nice 10 holes in my hatch lid. i'm in the process of filling them and I need these dimensions to see if any of the stock holes match up with the type X's required holes in case i get a type X wing later on. thanks yall!

just fill them up and do the holes later its much easier, thats what i did. the spoiler holes might be off by a little when you get it.

here's how i'm filling the holes:1. Use JB weld to "cold weld" small pieces of aluminum sheeting to cover up the holes from underneath.2. bondo to fill in the holes.

I would do it the right way and weld sheet metal to cover the holes up, but i dont have a welder and dont want to pay a shop to do it. This way is cheap and works surprisingly well as i can put a lot of force on the aluminum pieces from the top and it will hold fine(i havent bondo-ed over them yet). The problem, though, is that if i do get the type X wing (or any other wing), i'd rather not drill into the bondo and aluminum if the new holes happen to line up with the old ones. That's why i need the locations of the type x wing holes--if they happen to line up, i won't fill the ones they line up with. If they don't, i'd go ahead and fill them. Thanks adel for your help!

approximate locations would be of great help too.
