i'd recommend swapping to full synthetic Mobil 1 or Royal purple after 3500 miles,

if you live in a hot or warm climate area even 10w30 will be okay

the funny thing about full synthetic is i still swap it out ever 3000 miles...lol

me too. but if you had some junk car sitting around, you can put that 3000miles oil in it.

partial synthetic is not full synthetic and has some additives but will not give the performance or protection that full synthetic gives

think of watered down liquor. as partial synthetic.
