I run Mobil1 15W-50 year round because it is always humid and never gets that cold for long at all. About 45-50k? on the motor I guess.

Pretty much all boosted Nissans that I know of local run the same hahaha

Excdellent choice.

In a climate that experiences seaons for a FI'ed car, you can use Mobil1 ow-40 in winter (only). summer back to xw-50

Well due the temperatures here in Jamaica, I also use 20 - 50w. But i've also that none of you guys have stated that you're using Fully Synthetic oil, this should make the moving parts in the engine move more freely - more power.

However, i do remember after doing a forum history search, that someone gave a link to "how to break-in your engine parts", and that guy was recommending that we dont use Synethic oil until 20,000 miles.

That doesnt mean it true.

Nearly all modern engine can be run on syn right away tho, but just for safety of ring seating it generally best to not change too early to syn but anyway this has been discussed elsewhere in much detail

In any case most here use syn with their Forced Induction engines I am sure.

Ok, just checking.

I'm planning to buy some 20 - 50W Fully Syn tomorrow from a company called AMZOIL. Have you guys ever heard of this brand. Heard that they're rated #1 above Mobil and everyone else.

ok ive done some research and concluded that most forced induced motors should be using full syn oil. but also have heard that just normal non syn oil is best used for the ca? any suggestions or experiences from anyone? and what type of conditions is full syn oil good to use at?

I use amzoil as well. i used to run it all the time in my mitsu eclipse GSX. I ran a 15.2 in the quarter with the thing. That's nothing amazing in itself but the car had over 120k miles on it and it was my first time drag racing ever. personally i think that's saying a lot for a car that was about 11 years old and butt-hole *** stock.

I use castrol syntec blend 20w50. I use to use Greased lightning 20w50, but can't find it in south florida anymore. They both work great and my engines internals have proven such. But I'm sure most oils are good if you change them within 1500miles.

I run 20-50 Royal Purple in my CA18. Its been pretty beat to hell (due to the fact that the previous owners drove it like an F1 car on the damned Autobahns) so it burns pretty much anything thinner. Well, it burns it anyway, just this burns slower =/
