It all depends on how smooth the lines are painted... a bogus split between the two that doesnt fit the lines of the car can easily kill the look. If done right though, it can look sick.

I did this car many moons ago.

This is the line everyone now copies:

Take your time with the radius on the front corners and it'll look great.

Two tone hatch!?

Are you kidding me.

That would look like a big pile of feces.

The coupe has the body lines for it. The fastback doesn't.

Please don't do it.

Anyone who says you should obviously have no taste.

People who have already done it, please end yourselves.

You sir are a douche bag. By assuming your teenagish attitude and your small-weak-mindedness, I am going to take a leap at what you consider tasteful mods. Your priorities, taking into consideration you live in the bay, is how much your trunk 'slaps' how much of a "scraper" your whip is. Oh and I'll bet your rims are icey ballin fresh. And if you don't ghost ride your car you ain't HYPHY. Yadidia?

Grow up, keep your ****ty attitude to yourself. And post up some pictures of your car if you have attained such perfection with 240's that you can give that sort of opinion.

Not only are you close minded in thinking that the Bay Area is all about ghost riding, but you're blind in seeing how ugly a fast back looks two toned.

The fast back doesn't have the body lines for two tone.

Sorry that your idea of, "tasteful" is reminessant of trash.

You must also like cars that sit five miles in the sky with rotas and tires bubbling over the rims.

That's cool.

Have fun with that.

Opinions are like a55holes, everyone has one. However, I feel like I should clarify a bit.

First of all, the 2-tone line that I took would look like crap on a coupe. Sorry. We even tried it out on a junker shell and there is no reference line to follow. Also, when the line goes back towards the end of the car, it especially looks awkward. The hatchback, in my experience, is the only car to do my 2-tone line to. Also, the car doesn't end up looking like it has a Landau top due to the differing roof line of the hatchback.

Just because you think it doesn't look right doesn't mean that you're anywhere near to being on base.

Just a FYI: I followed the factory pinstripe as the 2-tone line. If it didn't look "right," I have no idea how it escaped Nissan with that on there.

You pretty much summed it up.

The coupe has a boxier roof line which suits the sharp edge of the two tone.

While the fast back has a flowing style. A two tone paint job can't do it justice.

That's why Nissan never made a two tone fb in the sates.

half of you can't read before running your mouths. op wants an all white car except for the pillars and roof. why is that so damned hard to understand?

there's a member on here that has a 2-tone zenki. browse the zenki thread, there should be a pic in there.

Im not a fan of the two tone look. especially on coupes. The only 2 tone id do is red and black. but white and black kinda got me thinkin... If it was only from pillers up then i think it would look pretty shmexi. it would have to be clean all the time though and shine like a mother to be pulled off. white and black are the hardest to keep clean and the ugliest when they are not clean. just my opinion. And I do agree people should read before they run there mouth. just my $.02
