Hello all Z owner's I have a 90 300zx na and I was adjusting the timing and i noticed that there is two timing marks really weird. Anyway the first mark is right on 30 looking down at it on the left and the other is at 15 which one should be on 15 the first or the second one never seen two marks on other cars before. If you could help I'd appreciate it thanks............

Do you have the timing light clamp facing in the right direction? Are you using cylinder 1 coilpack wire or the PTU loop?

What you mean by Timing light clamp? I'm using the PTU loop and also tried cyl 1 same thing 2 timing marks show up. So you never heard of or seen two marks before either uh

i have a similar issue although i am pretty sure my cars in time perfectly, the mark thats all the way to the side when u try and make that one in time will turn ure cass all the way to one direction and the car runs like crap so disegard that mark, I have no idea why you got it or i do. Only thing i could think of is my aftermarket under drive pulley. Just time it so the cas is towards the middle with the mark and you should be good

one mark is zero, the other is at 15 to make setting time quicker and easier
