If you look at the pics #1 is a spade connector that I have nowhere to hook up. #2 is the hole where I took a sensor that is a two wire with two prongs. It is in other pic. Next to it is a spade sensor that I took off of my KA that was next to the coolant temp sensor on it. #3 is the coolant temp sensor for the ECU? The posts I read said pick up a temp sensor from the auto parts store for a 91-94 KA and it will be single wire. Not so, they give me the one that looks like the one for the ECU. So where do I get one of these spade type and two what is it that I pulled out of my motor? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hmmm, I'm a little puzzled by what you wrote, but let me explain how the stock setup is. On my S13, there are 2 sensors there. One two wire plug, which is the ECU signal. One on the right is a 1-wire sensor with that spade connector you're talking about. This goes to the stock gauge cluster. (it must be from and S13, S14's won't show the temp. on the gauge correctly)

Now, if you have a two wire plug at #2, it could've been for an aftermarket gauge setup. But in stock form, there should be that single spade sensor that you have in the bottom of your second pic. Then you plug that mystery plug #1 there. Make sense?

That is what I thought. Now the question is where can I get one of those spade connector sensors at? For the right hand side. Thanks

You took a picture of it, it's the little one on the bottom there. This is just for the gauge so it won't affect your engine, that's what the one on the left does. If you need a new one just go get one for a 91-94 240sx from a Nissan dealer.

ask for the gauge cluster temperature sensor for the spade type. any dealer worth its salt should get you the proper one.
