Is there an NNJR event this weekend? I'll be in MD for the Autocrossers Inc event. From past experience, Ripken's lot is better than the one at E-town...Type X(J) wrote:hey guys,
WI_S14_Goldie: check out the scca site, there are 6 other cars in my class. the car below me is an s13. our times were really close. there were more cars in G stock, thats my bros class. AceInhole: thx! My bro and I actually just started running in Englishtown towards the end of Sept. and probably run the whole '08 season. It would've been nice to see you run. sorry to hear about your 240. We're running again this weekend. join us!
The E-town lot has been getting worse and worse over time. It was pretty bad when I used to run with DGTrials a few years ago, and it's just gotten worse since. The potholes on the lot have pretty much limited the course layout. I typically run with NER SCCA (Devens, MA) and PhillySCCA (Warminster, PA). They run on airport runways with longer layouts that have more speed variation. I'll try to make a few E-town events next year to get more test & tuning in, though. Hope to see you out there!Type X(J) wrote:Nice run! That was a fast course huh. It seems like the layout in E-town is pretty much the same (left hand sweeper on the turn around then some slaloms). I recently ran with the Porsche club of NJ and their layout was awesome! 60 second runs that are both technical and contains fast sweepers. I would recommend for you to check it next year. I usually run with Motor Sports North East. They're layouts are nice, but the Porsche club layouts are far better.
You drive all the way to Ripkens? You plan on going to the Summer Series Event # 12 on Nov. 11th?AceInhole wrote: From past experience, Ripken's lot is better than the one at E-town.
It's looking dim at the moment, as my fiance's grandfather is in the hospital. It also doesn't help that the friend who I usually stay with at those events will be at a family reunion....Slappy wrote:
