two quick questions...

i recently bought a pair of LED lights of ebay that i plan on wiring on each footwell. i was wondering how would go about wiring them. I definitely do not want them on all the time, probably just when the doors open. would i connect them too the lights that come on in the door?

another thing, i bought i new leather shift knob to replace the stock cheap looking plastic one. the thing is i have been trying to twist the knob off all day with no luck! is there anything you need to do so the shift knob comes easier? (it IS a manual )
